Katherine Pardew
Math Tutor
District 1 (Marion, Hamilton, Johnson, Hancock)
Katherine “Kate” Pardew has always had a passion for helping others learn, grow, and discover their potential. As both a parent and someone who has worked with children in a variety of settings—including daycare, elementary schools, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)—she has had the opportunity to support students with many different learning styles, personalities, and needs. Through these experiences, Kate has learned the importance of patience, flexibility, and meeting each child where they are.
As a math tutor, Kate’s goal is to empower students by helping them build confidence in their abilities and develop the skills they need to succeed independently. She strives to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress. Kate believes that every child is capable of learning when they are given the right support and taught in a way that makes sense to them.
Whether strengthening foundational skills, working through homework, or tackling new concepts, Kate wants each student to leave their sessions feeling more confident, capable, and excited to take on new challenges. She looks forward to working with families to help students discover the joy of learning.
