Austin Balser is an educator, entrepreneur, and advocate for student success who has dedicated his career to helping students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and achieve their goals. His journey in education began in the summer of 2021 at Miss Shannon's Music Studio, where he instructed group percussion classes and children's theater programs. These early experiences sparked a passion for teaching that would shape his future career.

In the summer of 2022, Austin founded Batesville Tutoring with the goal of providing affordable, personalized academic support to students in Southeast Indiana. As demand for individualized educational services grew, Batesville Tutoring evolved into Junifon Enlightenment in January 2024, expanding its offerings and impact throughout the region. Under Austin's leadership, the organization served numerous students and families through tutoring, enrichment programs, private lessons, and community partnerships.

Throughout this time, Austin continued pursuing his own education and professional development. He graduated from Batesville High School and earned an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Ivy Tech Community College. His academic background provided a strong foundation in leadership, business operations, and organizational management. He also served in a variety of instructional and leadership roles, including swim instructor, Ninjastics coach, Program Coordinator at the Southeastern Indiana YMCA, and later as Aquatics Coordinator for the Decatur Shelby County YMCA.

In the fall of 2026, Austin began his studies at Indiana University Indianapolis, pursuing a degree in Social Studies Education. With his relocation to the Greenfield area, he made the decision to close Junifon Enlightenment and establish Indiana Learning Center. This transition marked the beginning of a new chapter focused on providing high-quality mathematics and English/Language Arts instruction to students throughout Hancock County and surrounding communities.

As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Indiana Learning Center, Austin remains committed to his educational philosophy: helping students learn, grow, and succeed through personalized instruction, meaningful relationships, and a supportive learning environment. His mission is to inspire, empower, and guide students on their educational journeys while equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to reach their full potential.

Looking toward the future, Austin plans to continue serving students through teaching, educational leadership, and community engagement. He aspires to become an inspiring middle school principal and a published author on education and leadership topics, striving to shape the future of education through both practice and writing. Through Indiana Learning Center and his future work in schools, he hopes to leave a lasting impact on students, families, and communities across Indiana.
